ABOUT
David Hervey, LCSW
I believe therapy should help you better understand what you're facing and give you practical ways to move toward the life you want. I bring more than 15 years of behavioral health experience and extensive advanced training in evidence-based psychotherapy. I work with adults and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, chronic pain, addiction, anger and irritability, and relationship difficulties.
I don't believe one therapy approach fits everyone. We'll begin by understanding what brings you to therapy and identifying the changes that matter most to you. Together, we'll select an evidence-based approach that fits your concerns, goals, and preferences, and regularly evaluate whether therapy is helping.

A Place for Understanding,
Change, and Growth
Therapy should be more than a place to talk. It should help you understand what keeps you stuck, identify what matters most, and develop practical ways to move forward.

You may also be looking for more than a place to talk—you want to understand what is keeping you stuck and use proven strategies to create meaningful change. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to your goals, values, and needs.

ADVANCED TRAINING
Evidence-Based Care for Specific Problems
I’ve completed extensive advanced training in evidence-based therapies designed for specific concerns including trauma, insomnia, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, addiction, and other behavioral health needs. Rather than relying on one approach for everyone, I draw from treatments that fit the problem, your goals, and your preferences.
